In today’s post, I would like to expand on this topic, because artificial intelligence-based advertising (UGC AI ads) is becoming more and more popular, but it does not translate into your profits.
UGC Ai Ads is just a trophy.
It looks interesting, it gets you likes which makes you feel good for a moment, but it doesn’t generate the viewer action you need, like leads or sales.
Here’s the main reason: in a world where artificial intelligence is used on a massive scale, content consumers are seeking authenticity. A few months ago, I saw a video where a top-ranked table tennis player played a match against a robot.
The character of the second player was replaced with a machine. The video looked very realistic, went viral, and had over a million views, but it was fake. I found the original video from which the character of the second player was altered into a robot.
The altered version also had a misleading title suggesting that robots had dominated table tennis and that it was impossible to win against them.
I’ll set aside the ethical issues surrounding the posting of such videos. If your goal is to entertain people by misleading them, such videos might work for you.
However, if you are a business owner or marketer and you really want to reach your customers who might buy from you, you need to know that viewers are looking for authenticity.
UGC AI ads are not the result of real experience
Before making a purchase, customers want to learn something new or hear honest feedback from other buyers. They want to ensure they’re making the right choice, especially since they’re spending their money.
That’s why I believe UGC AI ads are a very bad solution.
Instead, I recommend using the services of real UGC creators who produce emotional content based on your guidelines about your product or service.
